First Aid Level 3


Introduction

First Aid Level 3 is a comprehensive first aid training course. All first aid topics are covered in the Level 3 First Aid training course. Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the correct use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) are essential skills emphasized to save a person's life in a medical emergency. This is the ideal first aid training course for persons in hazardous working environments or living in areas where medical care is not readily accessible.

Duration

This exciting first aid course is presented over 40 hours. Facilitation therefore takes place over five consecutive days.

Award

On successful completion course participants are issued with a First Aid Level 3 certificate valid for 3 years.

Requirements
  • First Aid Level 1 and 2 are required. Training course participants must be able to read, write and understand English and have basic math skills. Evaluation requirements includes a written test as and practical skill test on two person CPR with an AED.
